A migrant family donated rice noodles soup (Mont Hin Ga) to SAW Safe House for children to eat

On January 27, 2013, a migrant family namely Ko Myint Hlaing and Ma Khin Cho Aye came to SAW Safe House in the morning and feed the children from the safe house with rice noodles soup. Safe House

Social Action for Women has created a Safe House in 2000 to provide shelter and basic needs for abandoned children and to protect children from trafficking. It has been operating for ten years and has capacity to accept 70 abandoned and orphaned children. Forty-seven children from this Safe House have gone to Thai public school since 2005 and their educational fees are supported by individual donors. ...

Boarding House

  SAW has started the boarding house since 2005 together with the SAW school. Although SAW has already the safe houses for children, there are crowd and the boarding house needs to open separately. InBurmaespecially in the border areas, there are so many arm conflicts and because of these conflicts, so many children have to be in the plight. They have to loose the chance to get the proper education....
